The Dianna Pope Natural area was established to commemorate Dianna Pope’s 32 years of service on the East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District’s Board. Restoration of this area began shortly after the site was acquired by the District in 2011. Check back in this section for more photos as restoration continues!
- The Dianna Pope Natural Area was dedicated in 2014 to commemorate Dianna’s 32 years of service to the EMSWCD Board.
- Dianna has served in nearly every Board office and on numerous committees during her tenure here.
- She became an Associate Director and Director Emeritus in 2015.
- The logs in the area will provide habitat for a variety of wildlife.
- The Natural Area is also a StreamCare site, and restoration and improvements to the site will continue.
