Join East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District and Green Lents to find out about the benefits of gardening with native plants! You’ll learn how to decide which native plants will work well in your yard, and learn about common native plant communities and successful planting tips that will help them thrive! We will also highlight native plant characteristics and desired growing conditions of many native groundcovers, shrubs and trees.
Workshop attendees will enjoy complimentary tacos and drinks.

- Water: We recommend participants bringing a reusable water bottle to reduce single use plastic.
- Interaction level: Low. This is a presentation-style workshop with a presenter sharing the majority of the information. There are opportunities for participants to ask questions throughout the presentation. Participation is optional.
