This often means supporting others who are doing the work. See if a grant is right for your organization.
Our Grant Programs Meet the Diverse Needs of the District:
Partners in Conservation (PIC) Grants
These grants support community projects that focus on soil health and water quality; reducing and addressing climate impacts; sustainable agriculture and community gardens; outdoor and garden education programs; and fish and wildlife habitat restoration.
Small Projects and Community Events (SPACE) Grants
These grants are awarded monthly on a first-come, first-served basis. At $2,500 each, they support all sorts of projects, including: on-the-ground habitat restoration and tree planting; community or school gardening and garden education programs for youth, adults or families; community nature events.
