EMSWCD Website Accessibility Statement

East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District (EMSWCD) is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.

To help us achieve this goal, we have implemented the accessiBe web accessibility solution.

accessiBe Technology
accessiBe is an automated web accessibility tool that we utilize to enhance the accessibility of our website. It uses an AI-powered process to scan, analyze, and remediate website elements to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. accessiBe provides users with a variety of accessibility adjustments to customize their browsing experience, including:

  • Screen reader and keyboard navigation optimization
  • Visual adjustments such as font sizing, color contrasts, and highlighting
  • Content adjustments for users with cognitive disabilities

Our Commitment
While accessiBe plays a significant role in our accessibility efforts, EMSWCD is also committed to ongoing manual review and improvement of our website’s accessibility. We strive to ensure that all content and features are accessible to all users.
