Plantzy Gardens and Designs

Plantzy strives to bring the beauty of the natural world closer to us and our everyday lives. A high diversity of native plants is included in most of the gardens we create. This supports a higher diversity of wildlife and pollinators! We create curves and forms for the terrain, hardscaping and other features that mimic the natural landscape, yet can fit nicely even into a small yard.

Zak, the founder of Plantzy, brings botanical expertise that you can rely on. His experience comes from his work as a field botanist in the PNW, and while obtaining a degree in botany. His knowledge will be put to use when making plant selections or identifying plants in your yard, such as the over one hundred species of exotic weeds that occur in Portland, as well as native species from the common to the obscure. Zak is a licensed landscape construction professional, bringing practical skills and a creative eye, to make sure his designs are made with quality workmanship and artistry.
