Únase a East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District y Green Lents para aprender a atraer fauna beneficiosa. Compartiremos una breve descripción de los conceptos de “Naturescaping” y luego compartiremos ideas sencillas y creativas para convertir su espacio en un lugar al que aves, mariposas, insectos y más querrán acudir.
Comenzaremos en la Escuela Primaria Lents para un recorrido por el jardín de polinizadores. Luego, caminaremos hasta la Biblioteca de Herramientas Comunitarias Green Lents para la presentación sobre cómo atraer fauna silvestre beneficiosa en tu jardín.
Los asistentes al taller disfrutarán de tacos y bebidas de cortesía, y recibirán semillas de polinizadores nativos gratis.

Notas de accesibilidad

- Nivel de interacción: Bajo. Este taller se basa en una presentación, donde un presentador compartirá la mayor parte de la información. Los participantes podrán hacer preguntas durante la presentación. La participación es opcional.

Join East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District and Green Lents to learn how to attract beneficial wildlife. We will share a brief overview of Naturescaping concepts, and then dive into simple and creative ideas for making your space a place where birds, butterflies, bugs, and more will want to come flocking.
We will start at Lents Elementary School for a pollinator garden tour, then walk to the Green Lents Community Tool Library for the presentation to learn how to attract beneficial wildlife in your garden.
Workshop attendees will enjoy complimentary tacos and drinks, and receive free native pollinator seeds.

Accessibility Notes
- Water: We recommend participants bringing a reusable water bottle to reduce single use plastic.
- Interaction level: Low. This is a presentation-style workshop with a presenter sharing the majority of the information. There are opportunities for participants to ask questions throughout the presentation. Participation is optional.
