Welcome, visitors from the “Fall Home Improvement” section!

If you live in Clackamas County, you can find very similar services at the Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District!

We are the East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District, a unit of local government that serves Multnomah County east of the Willamette River. All our work is geared toward keeping water clean, conserving water and keeping soil healthy!

Get more from your landscape – for less!

  • We offer free workshops every spring and fall! Create a beautiful, low-maintenance landscape, build a rain garden to control your stormwater runoff, and learn about native plants!
  • At our annual native plant sale you can get hardy, low-maintenance trees, shrubs and groundcovers for just $2 or $3 each!
  • Gresham Rain Garden Incentive – $200 – Rain Gardens are a great way to manage rain water on your property. They also provide habitat for birds and pollinators, and just plain look great. Now, for a limited time, Gresham residents can receive $200 for installing a rain garden.
