The purpose of the SPACE Grant Review Committee is to review and provide input on Small Project and Community Event (SPACE) grant applications. The SPACE program provides grants of up to $2,000 to organizations and community groups for conservation projects. Board Committee members review and provide input directly to staff regarding SPACE applications on a monthly basis, normally without a formal meeting. If there are concerns with a SPACE application that cannot be resolved, the project may be brought before the full Board of Directors for consideration.
