Event Description:

The Multnomah Weed Watchers supports and trains volunteers to locate, identify and report new invaders before they become a problem. Volunteers become part of an Oregon Early Detection Network.

Invasive species cause serious problems by disrupting healthy ecosystems, pushing out native species, and decreasing the value of your land. Fortunately, many invasive species are not yet abundant in Oregon. Join the Oregon Early Detection Network and help keep them out!

Attend this FREE training to learn more about invasive plant species, develop the skills to locate, identify, and report new invaders as part of the Multnomah Weed Watchers Early Detection & Rapid Response Program.
